How to use

How to add Floor Generator to your scene.

Once the Floor Generatorarrow-up-right is installed - it is very easy to use it.

Option 1

Get Floor Generatorarrow-up-right directly from Modifiers tab. Select the flooring plane and find the necessary flooring pattern in the Modifiers list.

Attention! This option works only starting from Blender 4.0.

Option 2

Drag&Drop Floor Object from the Asset Libraryarrow-up-right and edit it to make the layout you need.

Option 3

If you already have a layout mesh object of your future flooring in the scene:

a. Drag&Drop Floor Object from the Asset Libraryarrow-up-right to the scene.

b. Join arrow-up-rightCtrl-J your layout to the Floor Object and delete unwanted parts of the resultant mesh.

Option 4

You can also copy Floor Generatorarrow-up-right Geometry Node Modifier from the Floor Object to your floor layout. Then you can copy Material from Floor Object or Drag&Drop Material from the Asset Libraryarrow-up-right.

Option 5

Another option works if you already added Floor Object to your scene before or it's not the first flooring in the current scene. Then you can just add a new empty Geometry Nodes Modifierarrow-up-right and browse node tree to link the Floor Generatorarrow-up-right.
