# Roof Mesh Requirements

[Roof Tiles Generator](https://blendermarket.com/products/roof-tiles-generator) is supposed to handle almost any roof shape you may need to have. But there is always place for issues to appear. If you have some issues try to check these first:

* Roof mesh [Rotation](https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/scene_layout/object/editing/transform/rotate.html) and [Scale](https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/scene_layout/object/editing/transform/scale.html) Transforms are applied.
* Roof mesh [Normals](https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/3.6/modeling/meshes/editing/mesh/normals.html) are directed "outside" (to the side where Tiles are supposed to be placed).
